Curries: Sardine curry
Serves: 2
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 cans sardines
- 3-4 cloves of chopped garlic
- ½ onion chopped
- Salt to taste
- One pinch turmeric
- ½ teaspoon chilli powder
- 2 potatoes sliced
- 2 carrots sliced
- Steamed rice
Method:
- Take sardines out of cans.
- Pour the oil from it in a frying
pan, save the fish fillets.
- When it is warm, add chopped
garlic and onion.
- Add potatoes and carrots to the
pan.
- Stir-fry till they begin to turn
brown.
- Add salt, a pinch of turmeric
and chilli powder.
- Then add the sardine fillets.
- Cover and cook.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
