Rices and Breads: Paella





Serves: 2
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups steamed rice
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 can chopped tomato
  • 1 cup frozen corn
  • ½ cup frozen green peas
  • 2 carrots diced
  • 1 tray diced chicken / beef / chicken liver cooked in curry masala or roasted
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • ½ teaspoon cooking oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
Method:
  • In a deep pan, put cooking oil.
  • When it is warm, add garlic, tomato, corn, green peas and carrot. Stir to fry.
  • Add meat, curry powder, salt, pepper and mix well.
  • Cover and simmer the curry till it is cooked.
  • In a deep bowl, arrange steamed rice and curry in layers.
  • Garnish with lemon juice.
  • Serve hot.
