Rices and Breads: Paella
Serves: 2
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 cups steamed rice
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 can chopped tomato
- 1 cup frozen corn
- ½ cup frozen green peas
- 2 carrots diced
- 1 tray diced chicken / beef /
chicken liver cooked in curry masala or roasted
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- ½ teaspoon cooking oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
Method:
- In a deep pan, put cooking oil.
- When it is warm, add garlic,
tomato, corn, green peas and carrot. Stir to fry.
- Add meat, curry powder, salt,
pepper and mix well.
- Cover and simmer the curry till it
is cooked.
- In a deep bowl, arrange steamed
rice and curry in layers.
- Garnish with lemon juice.
- Serve hot.
