Dessert: Semolina Pudding

Serves: 2-3
Preparation time: 7 minutes
Ingredients:
  • 100 gm semolina (also called suji or rawa)
  • 2 mugs milk
  • Sugar to taste
  • 4 cardamoms
  • Seasonal fruits (optional)
Method:

  • Dry roast 4 tablespoons semolina in a frying pan.
  • Before they turn a darker shade, add milk.
  • If you want it to be a thinner and lighter pudding, add some water to the milk.
  • Add sugar as required.
  • Peel cardamoms and add the seed and the skin.
  • All this while, keep stirring thoroughly so that the semolina does not form lumps.
  • When the pudding starts boiling and rises up, turn off heat and let it cool.
  • You can have it warm or cold, with or without fruits.
  • This is also good as a substitute for breakfast cereals.
