Curries: Sardine curry





Serves: 2
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
  • 2 cans sardines
  • 3-4 cloves of chopped garlic
  • ½ onion chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • One pinch turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon chilli powder
  • 2 potatoes sliced
  • 2 carrots sliced
  • Steamed rice
Method:

  • Take sardines out of cans.
  • Pour the oil from it in a frying pan, save the fish fillets.
  • When it is warm, add chopped garlic and onion.
  • Add potatoes and carrots to the pan.
  • Stir-fry till they begin to turn brown.
  • Add salt, a  pinch of turmeric and chilli powder.
  • Then add the sardine fillets.
  • Cover and cook.
  • Serve hot with steamed rice.
